In my last few update messages (click here and here if you want to read) I detailed some ministry needs with our school in Kenya. Specifically I wrote about the plot next to our school and the food bag distribution project. You have been very faithful and generous! We have received ALL the necessary funds to complete the purchase/clearing of the next door plot as well as funds for our food distribution project. I praise God and thank you so very much!!
In the next few weeks I will detail our needs for operating our school in the coming year, but right now I just want to focus on saying thank you. The last several years have been a continuous stretch of my faith. There has always been a greater need than what I thought was possible to meet. And yet, each time God moved through so many of you to exactly meet our needs. This has not been a small move of God!
We have a building in the very impoverished area of Mathare, outside of Nairobi, Kenya, that is able function as a school for over 200 kids. The building is paid for and we now have a plot next to the school that will function as an outside activity area. This is also paid for. We have a system in place with a local Director and local teachers that are well equipped to teach with excellence and dedication to Christ. There is so much to celebrate. So celebrate with me in praising God!
