Thanks so much for your support of our kids field trip this month. Your extra financial help blessed 250 kids and encouraged all of our staff! I am quite amazed and encouraged with the report I received from this trip. This is a great undertaking to transport and manage so many kids at one time.
I really love seeing the busses picking up the kids. To appreciate this picture, you need to understand that the road outside our school almost never has any cars drive past. It is mostly used for foot traffic and goats. So I can only imagine what the community thinks when they see multiple busses parked in front of the school.
On this trip, the kids were transported about 25 miles from the school. The theme of the trip was geography with a focus on forests, caves, and waterfalls. They also received a tour of a zoo and the younger kids spent some time in a play area.
There are many things on such a trip that we tend to take for granted – even something like grass. Without the ability to travel outside their community, these kids would never experience these simple gifts from God.
With your help, we continue to have a great impact with these kids, their families, and the community as a whole. I will write more about our needs as we come into the end of the year, but we always are in need of partners who are led to help.
